The major that I hope pursue for my further education is IC design. Because I find integrated circuits are playing a more and more important role in our modern society. 一、英语的重要性
为什么要把这块内容放在第一位呢？我认为，不管是学生还是家长，如果没有意识到一门学科的重要性，那么他就不会去重视这门学科的学习，结果可以相信，学好这门学科的概率就很小。英语学科，以前在小学是不做要求。但是去年开始，英语学科已经成为了主科，小学主科包括语文数学英语三门学科，而且小升初考试英语也是要考的。那么意味着什么，英语应该得到各位家长的重视，以后上了初中、高中、大学，英语都是非常重要的。就拿大学来讲，不管你的'子女以后学的是什么专业，英语都是必须考级的。所以我想说的是，小学阶段的英语正是打基础的时候，基础打好了，以后学起来才能轻松。
二、学习英语的方法
在此，我首先把英语书的各个部分以及要求说明一下。习英语离不开听说读写四个方面。听，上课听老师，回家听录音。每次作业我基本上都会布置听录音跟读的任务，也要求各位家长签字，请大家积极配合。英语课一个星期才3节，光靠上课的时间是远远不够的，我们英语老师每个人5个班，想要每个学生去检查去督促显然是不可能的，所以还请各位家长在家里积极配合。说，在小学阶段还是有一定的难度的。所以小学阶段主要强调背诵，背的多了，英语自然会脱口而出的。我布置背诵的作业，也请家长在家里积极配合，我在课堂上也会进行全班背诵、分组背诵以及个别背诵的方式检查。读，在小学阶段我认为是最重要的。多听多读，英语才能学好。每天不管有没有英语课，都应该让自己的子女坚持每天读15至30分钟的英语。写，课本里要求书写的单词句子要掌握。
三、存在的问题
1、上课纪律问题（点名3次惩罚）
2、作业问题（校讯通，监督子女作业的人一定要知道作业。
3次以上考试扣分，请家长配合检查）
3、错题订正问题（错题一定要订正好，尊重老师，也尊重自己的学习）
4、考试习惯问题
5、习惯不好（作业忘带、忘做、错题不订正、考试题目做漏、不认真、考试名字不写……）
四、对家长的要求
1、重视英语，一起努力。
2、该签字的一定要签字。
3、尽量做到每天都读英语十几分钟。
4、作业问题（检查作业是否完成、前面错题是不是订正好、字迹清楚否、有没有装进书包里……）

面试在求职过程中，可以说是压力最大一个环节。面对外国老板连珠炮似提问，如果能回答得从容不迫、简明扼要，恰当中肯，而且合乎老外口味，那么肯定会大大增加你录用机会。以下经验就是有关英文面试一些准备和技巧，希望提供大家参考。
一、英语面试前准备：
1. 准备好所有证书材料，譬如与专业能力相关资格证书，或参加 培训 资料，最好和应征职务有直接关联，不但可证明自己在这一方面所做努力，也表示具有这个潜能。
2. 面试时自我介绍内容应强调应征动机以及想应征岗位，因此收集好相关岗位情报，自我介绍时才能胸有成竹，切合主题。

二、英语面试时表现3方面（诚意，能力，业绩）：
回答问题时口齿要清晰、语调适中。内容要有条理、避免重复。介绍工作经历采用倒序，从最近一份工作谈起，着重强调有利于新工作职务经历。最好能说明曾担任何种职务、实际成绩、业绩等，以及自己工作对原来公司影响。凡和此次应征不相关内容，尽量避免提及。话题紧扣以下3方面来展现自己优势。
1、诚意。某个问题发表完见解之后，可以附带加上一句：I?d like to hear your opinion.(我很想听听你意见。)这句话表明你对面试人尊敬，很容易使他(她)产生亲切感。当面试人在试探你应聘诚意时，应该及时表态：So far as that is concerned， you must have understood my determination.(谈到这里，您一定已经明白我决心。)问些与工作内容相关问题，能表现你对这份工作兴趣。如：What other responsibilities do you think this job will include?
2、能力。当你知道招聘单位目前急于用人时，首先把自己专长讲足说够，然后顺理成章地得出结论：I think your unit needs a man like me.(我想，贵单位需要象我这样人才。)用这样句式，让面试人认为你是站在他们立场上说话，在替他们发展考虑问题，于是更容易接受你。陈述自己任职资格时，可以这么开头：I?m qualified for the job because……(我能胜任这项工作，是因为……)接着陈述理由。当面试人在审视你究竟能不能胜任此职时，参照标准已不再是他心目中标准，而是你列举理由。
3、业绩。外国公司面试喜欢用事实说话，用数字说话，为证明你能力，你可以把过去经历联系起来，说明你曾经为以前公司解决过跟现在雇主所面临类似问题：I explored BEIJING market and sold 50，000 sets in one year.(我开发北京市场，一年销售出去5万套。)
三、英语面试时具备3P原则：
自我介绍时应该记住“3P原则”：Pertinent(中肯)，Personal(个性)，Positive(自信)。
谈吐自信，就是要积极地进行自我肯定，让面试人充分解你优点与潜能。突出个性，就是要把自己与众不同特点发挥出来，强调自己专业与能力。语气中肯，就是要实事求是，不要言过其实，夸夸其谈，也不要涉及和自己无关事情。
自我介绍应简洁明，给面试人留下思路清晰、反应快捷、逻辑性强印象。自我介绍时间不宜太长，话不宜太多，最好控制在五分钟之内。不要一谈起自己就口若悬河，滔滔不绝，以免言多语失。另外，在自我介绍时应避免过多地使用“I”(我)，不要每个句子一开头就冒出一个“I”字，给人留下自我标榜、以自我为中心印象。
灵活应聘者往往会把“我”开头话，变成“你”字打头。例如，面试人说：Would you please say something about yourself?(请你谈谈自己情况好吗?)应聘者则说：Do you want me to talk about my personal life or to say something about the job?(你想让我谈谈我个人生活呢，还是与这份工作有关问题?)这样，你谈话就把面试人摆进去。这种谈话方式所产生效果是不言而喻。面试毕竟是面试人与应聘者互相沟通一种场合，应聘者时常把面试人摆进自己谈话当中去，自然而然就起到互相沟通作用。

education background
In 1995, i entered the nanjing university of science & technology (nust) -- widely considered one of the china’s best engineering schools. during the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. i was granted first class prize every semester,in 1999, i got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test.
At the period of my graduate study, my overall gpa(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. in the second semester, i became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. this year, i won the acer scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. presently, i am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of excellent graduation thesis.
Research experience and academic activity
when a sophomore, i joined the association of ai enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. with the tool of opengl and matlab, i designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. it is now widely used by different research groups in nust. i assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for nanjing sewage treatment plant. this was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.
In retrospect, i find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the ph.d. program. my future research interests include: network scheduling problem, heuristic algorithm research (especially in ga and neural network), supply chain network research, hybrid system performance analysis with petri nets and data mining.
